My Favourite Red Liquid Lipsticks

As we all know Red is a statement colour, that gives most people the "wow" look. I think i lost track of how gorgeous red looks on me until recently. I have fallen back in love with my old lovers (cliche)

Stila Liquid lipstick in Beso
If you haven't tried out the stila liquid lipsticks, you're definitely missing out. If you're looking for a highly pigmented lipstick with long lasting coverage then this is going to be your best friend. It is a creamy full coverage lip color that can stay up to 6 hours, it feels light weight on the lips and it is non-transferrable once dry. Most people don't know this but it contains vitamin E and avocado oil for hydration and conditioning. Most times when you apply liquid lipsticks, they dry and leave the lips all cracked up and dehydrated, those ingredients help to prevent it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in American Doll
The ABH liquid lipsticks are also very pigmented. It can last for up to 6 hours or more and dries completely matte. They have a variety of shades to pick from even in the red categories. Would look stunning on different tones. A lot of makeup lovers are already familiar with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics. I have to say their liquid lipstick is one of my favourite products from their brand. If you haven't tried any products from this line, I recommend you do. You would thank me later.

Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick in Velvet
This is a completely different texture from the other two, it has a tip applicator. which you can apply directly to the lips. It is also very pigment with a glossy shine to it. The formula is creamy, rich and hydrating. The staying power can last up to 4hrs or more. This was actually my first lip color from too faced brand.

Three things you never knew could clean your makeup Brushes.

Apart from the traditional makeup brush cleanser and shampoo that you can purchase from any makeup store. Here are three products that you could substitute for a makeup brush cleanser or shampoo.

1. Using a Dish Soap: whattttttt??? yes i said it. Liquid dish soap like dawn is amazing for washing your makeup brushes. It helps in breaking down the makeup that can be hard to get off. It is also really good for those greasy stains or products that can be stubborn to get off your brushes. Another advantage to using the dish soap is that glitters are easy to wash off.  Remember to spray with alcohol after wash.

2. Baby Shampoo: I didn't believe this until I tried it. It is important to deep wash your brushes once a week, if it is just for your own use. While for makeup artist like myself, I deep wash after every use. A lil trick that I learnt is to add a few drops of tea tree oil to the shampoo, this would provide antiseptic benefits to your makeup brushes. (i.e prevent bacteria) another benefit is that your brushes would smell really good after wash.

3. Bar Soap / Organic Bar Soap: This is the easiest to use and find, just wet your brush and rub gently against the bar soap and all the makeup products would gently rub off. Rinse once the brush is clean and leave to air dry. This method is price efficient and is a great substitute for your solid brush cleansers like the beauty blender solid soap.
I hope these tips were really helpful, don't forget to check out my blog every week for more post. Let me know in the comment section if this post was helpful and what you would like to see on my blog.
Thanks
